What time does Convention start
Registration opens from 2.00pm – 6.00pm on Tuesday 6th October at the New Zealand International Convention Centre. The first event is the Welcome event being held at 7.00pm on Tuesday 6th October 2026.
If I need assistance onsite at the Convention, where do I go?
For information about Convention accommodation or any general enquiries when you arrive onsite, please see the registration desk located in the New Zealand International Convention Centre from Tuesday 6th October 2026 at 2.00pm and will be open during convention hours during the event. Alternatively, please email registration@dreamweavers.com.au.
Is there a dress code?
Yes, there is a dress code for the Convention. Please refer to the Convention Agenda for event days and specific events.
Hotel Check-in / Check out
Hotel check in time is 2.00pm for Sudima and 3.00pm for all SkyCity Hotels and Rydges.
Check out is at 11.00am for all SkyCity Hotels and Sudima. Check out is 10.00am for Rydges

Breakfast
Breakfast is included daily in your hotel.
Sudima will serve breakfast between 6.00am – 10.00am
SkyCity Hotels will serve breakfast between 6.30am – 10.30am

What are the entry requirements for New Zealand?
You’ll need a valid passport with at least six months’ validity from your date of return. You may also be asked to show proof of onward travel or accommodation. Biosecurity is strict in New Zealand — ensure you declare all food, plant material, or outdoor equipment on arrival.
Do I need to complete any travel declarations or forms before arrival?
ALL travellers are required to complete the New Zealand Traveller Declaration online before arrival for a faster airport process. The form collects information on customs, biosecurity, and health. The link to the form can be found here and can be completed up to 24 hours prior to your flight. It must be completed prior to passport control in New Zealand.
Do I need a visa to travel to New Zealand?
Australian and New Zealand citizens do not need a visa to enter New Zealand. You can travel freely between Australia and New Zealand with a valid Australian passport. Permanent residents of Australia who are not citizens may need to apply for a New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority (NZeTA) before travelling.

There are 28 accessibility spaces on parking level B1of the New Zealand International Convention Centre carpark.
RESTROOMS
The New Zealand International Convention Centre have accessible and all inclusive bathrooms available on Levels 1, 3 and 5.

What items are banned from the Hungry Jack’s National System Convention 2026?
Any items that are prohibited by law in New Zealand.
I have a medical emergency, what number can I call?
In New Zealand, if you need the police, the fire service, or an ambulance for an emergency, call 111. Calling 111 is free. Alternatively, you can use your Australian phone to call other international emergency numbers like 911 or 000, and these calls will be automatically diverted to the New Zealand 111 service.

Any lost property handed into the Convention Organisers will be safely stored and available at the Registration Desk for the duration of the Convention. At the end of the Convention any leftover property will be passed over to the New Zealand International Convention Centre lost property and further enquiries will need to be dealt directly with the property.
Is there a COVID-19 vaccination or testing requirement?
As of now, no COVID-19 testing or vaccination proof is required to enter New Zealand, though this may change based on government advice.
What currency does New Zealand use?
New Zealand uses the New Zealand Dollar (NZD). Major credit cards are accepted widely, and ATMs are easily accessible. Please ensure you advise your bank that you may use your card overseas.
Is there a time difference between Australia and New Zealand?
Yes, New Zealand is typically 2 hours ahead of Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST). Note that daylight savings may alter this slightly.
Will my mobile phone work in New Zealand?
Most Australian mobile networks have roaming agreements with New Zealand providers. Check with your carrier for roaming charges, or consider purchasing a local SIM card or eSIM for data.
Do I need travel insurance?
Hungry Jack’s travel insurance coverage extends to staff travel to and from the convention, commencing seven days prior to the event start date and concluding seven days after the event end date. Please note that this policy excludes coverage for extreme or high-risk activities. Delegates are encouraged to arrange their own additional travel insurance should they wish to obtain broader coverage.
